It was bound to happen

The past year has been controversial, to say the least.  Now…it is beyond “Keep Austin Weird” out of control. The following article pretty much describes what happened in this election.  I will be honest: I was not a Hillary guy, but I wasn’t a Trump guy, either.  I am happy with the outcome, though, because the “the people” spoke with a louder voice than the have since the Dewey-Truman race.  Trump is definitely a POPULIST president, and here is the truth, and proof (from a re-post by Paul Craig Roberts).

This Wasn’t an Election. It Was a Revolution.

By Daniel Greenfield, a Shillman Journalism Fellow at the Freedom Center

It was midnight in America. The day of the election millions Americans got up and stood in front of the Machine, the great iron wheel that had been grinding them down. They stood there even though the media told them it was useless. They took their stand even while all the chattering classes laughed and taunted them as white trash racists.

They were fathers who couldn’t feed their families anymore. They were mothers who couldn’t afford health care. They were workers whose jobs had been given to foreigners in foreign countries so that the incomes of oligarchs could rise. They were sons who didn’t see a future for themselves. They were daughters afraid of being raped by the undocumented illegals flooding into their towns. They took a deep breath and they stood.

They held up their hands and the great iron wheel stopped.

Blue America crumbled. The Blue States fell one by one. Ohio. Wisconsin. Pennsylvania. Iowa. The white working class that had been overlooked and trampled on for so long got to its feet. It rose up against its oppressors. The rest of the nation, between the West coast and the North East coast, “the fly-over zone”, rose up with it.

They fought back against their jobs being shipped overseas while their towns filled with migrants that got everything while they got nothing. They fought back against a system in which they could go to jail for a trifle while the elites could violate the law and still stroll through a presidential election.

They fought back against being told that they had to watch what they say.

They fought back against being held in contempt because they wanted to work for a living, take care of their families, and protect the sanctity of marriage.

And they won.

This wasn’t a vote. It was an uprising.

Like the ordinary men chipping away at the Berlin Wall, they tore down an unnatural thing that had towered over them. And as they watched it fall, they marveled at how weak and fragile it had always been. And how much stronger they were than they had ever known.

Who were these people? They were the neglected in the fly-over country that is the heart of America. They didn’t have university degrees, and they had never set foot in a Starbucks to pay $5 for a cup of coffee. They were the white working class. They didn’t talk right or think right. They had the wrong ideas, the wrong clothes and the ridiculous idea that they still mattered.

They were told they were wrong about everything. Illegal immigration. Black Lives Matter, but not jobs for the oppressed middle class. Manufacturing is unnecessary for an economy in which financial profits are all important. Transgendered bathrooms. Same gender marriages. Americans were supposed to bow down and surrender to a handful of perverts.

Told that the future belongs to the metrosexual dot com transgendered globalist, and not to the guy who once had a good job before the globalist corporations with Washington’s blessings sent it to China or Mexico, real Americans revolted.

White trash American couldn’t change anything, declared the pundits. But instead of adapting to the inevitable future of America’s demise, they got in their pickup trucks and drove out to vote.

And they changed everything.

Barack Hussein Obama boasted that he had changed America. And he did for the worse. A billion regulations, millions of immigrants, a hundred thousand lies and it was no longer our America.

White Trash America voted and sent Obama to Hell. They walked through him and through the Democratic Party like the wet paper bag that they are. Voters abandoned the party that had sold out the American people. More black Americans voted for Trump than voted for Romney.

The election repudiated the Obamas, the Clintons, the celebrities, and the media. Americans turned the One Percent’s world upside down.

CNN is weeping. MSNBC is wailing. ABC calls it a tantrum. NBC damns it. It wasn’t supposed to happen. The same machine that crushed the American people for six straight terms, the mass of neoconned government, globalist corporations and oligarch-financed non-profits that ran the country, was set to win. Or so they thought.

Instead the people stood in front of the Machine. They blocked it with their votes even though the media told them Hillary was the certain winner. They mailed in their absentee ballots even while Hillary Clinton was planning her fireworks victory celebration. They looked at the empty factories and barren farms. They drove through the early cold. They waited in line. They came home to their children to tell them that they had done their best for their future. They bet on America. And they won.

They are tired of the absence of affordable health care and recognize the fraud of Obamacare. They are tired of unemployment and of being lied to. They are tired of watching their sons come back in coffins so that the military/security complex could continue to loot America with their wars. They are tired of being called names and watching the theft of their country.

They understood that Trump was right. The election was their last hope, their last chance to save themselves and their country. And they did.

This election was not about who gets to use the female toilet. It wasn’t about whether it is racist to enforce the immigration laws. It wasn’t about how men, however uncouthly, express their sexual interest in women.

It was about suffering Americans, whose names no one except a server and the NSA will ever know, fighting back against their oppression. It was about the homeless woman guarding Trump’s star. It was about the betrayed Democrats searching for someone to represent them in Ohio and Pennsylvania. It was about the union men who refused to sell out their futures and vote for a Democrat who is an agent of the One Percent.

The media will never interview those men and women. We will never see their faces. But they are us and we are them. They came to the aid of a nation in peril. They did what real Americans have always done. They did the impossible.

Is it 2012, yet?

I have been recovering from my surgery, and not writing, as you have noticed. I HAVE been watching a lot of TV, however, and it seems the clicker always seems to click to a news channel (or seven). I tell you, folks, its getting extremely frustrating to me to watch and hear the BS (that’s “bacon sandwich” for those of you who don’t know) that dribbles across the airwaves, constantly.

First, there are the shenanigans from the criminals in the Congress, White House and all things DC. If I make it another day without exploding, I will be surprised.  Solyndra, bailout #3, stock market, jobs bill, Charlie Rangel’s portrait on the wall of the congressional building (at the bargain basement price of 65k0 not eleven months after his censure on eleven counts of misconduct. My, ain’t we got fun!?

Then, we have 9 GOP candidates fighting among themselves (for our entertainment, presumably) and this has to go on HOW much longer?

Oh, and just for an added bonus, there is a school bus sized piece of “space junk”, weighing in at about 6 tons, plummeting to earth sometime this evening.  The sky really IS falling!

It occurs to me that if one is ignorant, being led to slaughter is so much more relaxing….

On a happier note, however, my stitches come out on Monday, AND, I get my new “EARS”! I’m also about 4 pounds from my “ideal” weight.  So I think I’ll just float on those things for another week or so.

The gangsters can destroy the world without me!

Belief

My policy (hasn't worked so far)

Uhhh…. I forgot.

I have been noticeably absent. My body took a vacation, and my mind took a longer one. I’m back, now. Have some personal issues to deal with (abdominal hernia surgery on Tuesday morning, hopefully the last one… because they are painful as hell to recover from).

However, I have not let the BS (bacon sandwich) get past me.

Like the JOBS report this week.  ZERO growth rate! ZERO!

CNBC reported that “It was the first time since World War II that the economy had precisely net zero jobs created for a month.”

It took the Republican National Committee exactly 94 minutes to coin a new, demeaning title for Barack Obama: President Zero.

Zero

Way to go, President Zero!

In an email to reporters, the R.N.C. took note of the worst job report in nearly a year, saying that there has been “two and a half years of Obamanomics and nothing to show for it.”

The monthly report, which showed a 17,000-job gain among private employers but no growth overall, provides Mr. Obama’s Republican rivals with the perfect opportunity to criticize him as they prepare to gather for another nationally-televised debate next week.

And it gives Mr. Obama an even more gloomy backdrop for the jobs speech he will give to a joint session of Congress next Thursday. In the speech, Mr. Obama is expected to call for a renewed national effort to put people back to work and trim the nation’s deficit.

So what does the administration have to say about all of this?

President Zero’s Labor Secretary Hilda Solis told a cable news anchor this morning: “I do feel like we’re going in the right direction…”

Oh yeah? And exactly WHAT direction is that? Socialism? Marxism? Sharia Law? Or just off the cliff?!?!

And on another note, regarding the STIMULUS and GREEN ENERGY:

House investigators said they have uncovered evidence that White House officials became personally involved in an Energy Department review of a hot-button $535 million loan guarantee to the now-failed California solar company Solyndra.

The allegation surfaced in a letter House Energy Committee Chairman Fred Upton (R-Mich.) sent to the White House Thursday night, saying he planned to accelerate efforts to understand an investment deal that may have left taxpayers out half a billion dollars.

“We have learned from our investigation that White House officials monitored Solyndra’s application and communicated with [Department of Energy] and Office of Management and Budget officials during the course of their review,” the letter says.

Thursday’s letter, which calls on the White House to turn over correspondence between administration officials, Solyndra and its investors, presents the most pointed suggestion that the White House had direct involvement in the financing.

“How did this company, without maybe the best economic plan, all of a sudden get to the head of the line?” Upton told ABC News in an interview this week. “We want to know who made this decision … and we’re not going to stop until we get those answers.”

But will they ever really get those answers. Will they even try?  And if they get the answers, what will the do with them. I think that 90% of the guys in congress are spineless weasels who don’t have the cojones to stand up for what’s RIGHT. They are to worried about pleasing there respective parties, and securing there next campaign monies and seat.

“I’m tired
Lawd I’m so tired….”

Vote the constitution! Read the annotated (explained) version here!

See you in a week or so…

Greetings from the beach!

I am in sunny, slow moving, Pawley’s Island SC for a visit with my inlaws.  I thought I might escape the constant drone of political trash that I’ve been living with.  You know… go on vacation, hang out at the beach, go boating, leave the PC on “hibernate”, turn the phone off, etc.

It did not happen that way. My mom, pop, and brother in law are all very involved in following the stock market and politics in general.  So I have stayed up to date via newspapers and Direct TV.

Watching Wall Street go crazy was scary, but awesome. All that STIMULUS really has paid off, huh? I had predicted that gold would hit 2K within a week, and it almost did! I was glad to see the market stabilize, some, and the price of gold level off at around $1750/oz.

There are the pundits, and some Senators, saying that the downgrade is the fault of the Tea Party (??!!). Now the Washington mainstream is placing its faith in the formation of the Super Committee: Republicans who have been told to “compromise”,  Democrats who want to tax, and one Mr. Clyburn who wants to close the wealth gap (guess how?  Yep… redistribution)

So, do you think anything GOOD can come of this? I rather doubt it.

On the other hand, I did watch the Iowa debates, and I was NOT impressed by ANY of them.  (Is it 2008 all over again?) Glad to hear that Rick Perry finally threw his hat in, officially, not just because I’m a Texan, but because he is a leader and a fighter, with strong moral convictions and a true belief in a smaller central government.  Go Rick!

I am heading up to Indianapolis on Thursday for a few days with my Hoosier Family. I am really looking forward to it.  I will head home to Houston on 8/23, and hopefully have my last surgical procedure the first week of September.

I’ll post again around the 28th.

Stay RIGHT, people. Stay RIGHT!

I’m Outta Here!

I have watched and listened in utter disgust, throughout the past few weeks, to the goings on in DC and in Florida.

Does anyone else think that the Casey Anthony Trial was a show to distract us from the total absence  of leadership in the government? Did these idiots not realize that a budget had to be submitted?

Are WE idiots for not paying attention to what the politicians are up to? Well, as a matter of fact, we are.  Our liberties are being usurped more every day. We are a skip, a blink and a nod away from a socialist state where the government provides for all. Today, I heard that the government has decided that cell phone are a “RIGHT” and has mandated that cell companies provide FREE PHONES and 250 MINUTES to anyone who applies, as long as they are at 137% of, or below, the recognized poverty level. This is maddening.  They get cell phones and WE pay for it! And many of us, can barely afford our cell phones. The cell companies will naturally pass on the expenses to us. (of course, we have higher gas prices and higher food prices , etc. The list goes on)

What a crazy mixed up country we live in. I barely recognize it sometimes. But the constitution is still the law of the land, and until it is changed in a legal fashion, we have the right, no the DUTY, to stop the madness.  This country is a government “of the people, by the people and for the people”.  We grant powers to the elected officials, And we can take those powers away, as well. But the way to do it is to vote… and vote carefully.  Don’t let slick ads sway you. Study the candidates and then vote for those that will do what YOU want them to do. Don’t worry about party lines. Both parties are guilty of spending in excess, wasting taxpayer money and their time in office just so they can have a cushy job and retire and make millions more on the Speaker Circuit. People… we HAVE to put and end to this.

I can’t take it anymore!  I’m going to stay with my father -in-law while he has knee replacement surgery, and till he is OK on his own. In the meantime, I will become blissfully ignorant of the events in DC, and in three weeks I will start the fight to awaken you guys once again.

Happy wedding and best wishes to Adam and Elizabeth! ( hopes for a long rest to the parents of both.)

PS: I know I’m ranting, but sometimes you’ve just got to say it (or explode).

Go Bibi!

Benjamin “Bibi” Netanyahu, PM of Israel, addressed the full US Congress today. He is a true politician, and did not speak against the White House, but rather spoke of the enduring support that the US has given Israel, and Israel to the US,  The transcript of his speech is here.

Of course, the Palestinian National Authority (Abbas and his henchmen, Hamas) cried that the speech was a essentially a declaration of war. Silly, silly people. See the Palestinian comments here.

If you are Christian, you know the seriousness of the charge put forth by our God, that Israel will stand and flourish, and that we are not to stand against them.  There is a good explanation of the relationship and commandment found here.

Do you back the Jews? Curious minds want to know.  I, for one, do back them, and I admire them for the restraint they have shown in dealing with their enemies, as well as the loyalty they have shown to us.

m…………..

What the…?

Hey campers!!!

It’s Monday, and I’m still here.  Are you?

It was a tense weekend, but not because of the “rapture malfunction”, but because of major events that affect us. These include the Iceland volcano eruption, the tornadoes in Missouri, the continued flooding in Louisiana, and of course the continuing saga of our president’s gaffe in the Middle East Peace Process.  At least the POTUS limo is unstoppable, that is as long as no CURBS are in sight.

Hmm… it kind of makes me wish that we had been raptured.  It seems like I am destined to watch the world through hand covered eyes with fingers slightly separated.

Good news, though: both protease inhibitor drugs that I have been waiting for are here! They are rather pricey, but having spent over $100K so far to keep the engine running, I believe I will go ahead with therapy as planned. At least I have insurance…

(btw, if you are not used to it, the colored text will take you to a news article on that subject)

Well, we shall see what happens next.  Take care of yourselves!
